EMDR Therapy (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)

EMDR is a clinically proven therapy that helps people process and heal from traumatic or distressing life experiences. It works by stimulating the brain’s natural healing processes to reduce the emotional charge of painful memories, so they no longer feel as overwhelming or intrusive. This is especially helpful if you’ve experienced trauma, abuse, grief, anxiety, or PTSD.

EMDR consists of a 8-phase approach that I will gently guide you through the healing process at a pace that feels safe and manageable:

Why EMDR?

  • Helps reduce the emotional intensity of traumatic memories

  • Can create lasting shifts in how you feel and respond to triggers

  • Doesn’t require you to go into detailed re-tellings of painful events

  • Effective for single-event trauma, complex trauma, anxiety, phobias, grief and more

  • 60 Minutes – $235: Best for ongoing, consistent EMDR work

  • 90 Minutes – $350: Ideal for deeper trauma processing or more complex cases

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

CBT is a widely used, evidence-based therapy focused on helping you identify, understand, and change patterns of thinking and behaviour that are contributing to emotional distress. It’s a structured, goal-focused approach that teaches you practical tools to manage challenges both inside and outside of the therapy room.

CBT can help you:

  • Break the cycle of anxious or negative thinking

  • Reduce stress by learning to respond differently to difficult situations

  • Improve mood and build resilience

  • Set and achieve meaningful goals

  • Strengthen your sense of control and self-awareness

  • Manage symptoms related to trauma, burnout, relationship struggles, or life transitions

We will work collaboratively together to explore how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours are connected—and how small shifts can create big changes in how you feel and function.

Session Options:

  • 60 Minutes – $235: Focused, personalized support to help you gain insight, build coping tools, and create lasting change.

  • 90 Minutes – $350: Whether you're navigating stress, trauma, or a major life shift, this longer format allows us to go deeper and create meaningful progress together.

Trauma-Informed Somatic Therapy

Somatic therapy recognizes that trauma isn’t just stored in our memories—it’s held in our bodies. This gentle, body-centered approach helps you reconnect with your physical self, regulate your nervous system, and process experiences that are difficult to express through words alone.

This therapy is especially helpful if you:

  • Feel "stuck" in patterns of stress, anxiety, or emotional overwhelm

  • Have experienced trauma or abuse and want to heal in a safe, body-aware way

  • Struggle with chronic tension, fatigue, or disconnection from your body

  • Are navigating big transitions and want to feel more grounded and present
